Even though the family's ancestral lands have been lost for generations many who live in Ahlströrm lodges believe Havor the Ironblood to be the greatest of all Norn warriors, perhaps even one who could have destroyed the Ice Dragon in combat if he were born during the right era.

It was Havor the Ironblood who defended his lodge from both Jormag's minions and the traitorous dragon revering Sons of Svanir single-handedly while a moot was being held elsewhere in the Shiverpeaks. The only accounting of what happened during that assault was of Havor himself and a lone cook who was unfortunate enough to be down with sickness as these enemies attempted to plough over the Norn longhouse.

After months of trading blows with two drastically different enemies in parallel strikes Havor was relieved by his brethren-- they had finally returned from the moot. A mural in the Ahlströrm lodge depicts how his fellow Norn found him: amongst a hill of bodies stacked higher than three of the tallest norn men. His axe and mace were bloodied and blunted to nubs and his body had more wounds than any healer had ever mended.

The Ahlströrm lodge had not a single scratch, even though felled trees were used as barriers against oncoming arrows. Havor was said to hold blood of iron, and thus his title was born and a seven-day feast was held in his honor. The Jormag did not taint the freshly built lodge nor did those who wished for Jormag's power take all the precious supplies this longhouse held.

Havor the Ironblooded went on to accomplish many more deeds which he had put into painting in his lodge. The felling of the gigantic foes known as the Jotun and the sniveling Dredge were among only a fraction of his actual deeds and even as he drew into old age he swore that he had lived a life which no other could-- one of glory, conquering monsters which only happen in fairy tales, and living a life of many wives and hundreds of grandchildren.

The son of the eldest Ironblood, Elgard Ahlströrm, created a company of fellow-minded Norn with the ideals of the Ironblood in mind: to face the impossible and the evil and destroy them wherever it is found. All warriors are equal, no matter their profession or their means; all are equal in war and Elgard held this ideal to be true until he had to pass down the title of Jarl and their successor after them. The Ironblood lives on to this day, their ranks dwindling and replenishing as they are needed with all sorts coming to fight for glory, money, and infamy.

With Tyria in conflict, the Ironbloods once again find their abilities tested and needed across the lands. From the human lands to those of the charr and asura the Ironbloods are ready and willing to travel to fight in the name of themselves so they can better the world around them as well as reap the rewards of their strength.

Jarl Narrik Ahlströrm recently came into power, her abilities enabling her to take up the Ironblood's war horn and some of his ancient war gear and armor. She cares little for weakness and has both the cunning of the Raven which has been the staple of the family's spirit guide yet finds herself entering a new world unlike the one before it as the spirit of the Wolf guides her to greater fortune and power.

[OOC] Guild Information:

The Ironbloods is a heavy roleplay guild for Guild Wars 2 which focuses on telling a story and having fun with it's members. While we are a multi-game guild we seek to maximize the time we have by having fun with our guildmates and not try too hard to offend anyone.

We have our own sense of humor and sometimes we may come off as a bit harsh but in the end if you're one of us you're as good as family. Respect, fun, and a barrel of laughs is what you can expect from us as well as lots of lighthearted and heavyhearted role-play depending on what day it is.

Our events will be held weekly, most of them public and few of them private. We don't believe in isolation or hurting the community and we hope to help build a world worth role playing in.

Our goals are to roleplay, engage in PvP and PvE content with a light heart and loose schedule, and play the game and enjoy it to the best of our abilities.

"But the galaxy has changed, and someone with flexibility has to protect the Republic." - The Director

Too many organizations find themselves shrouded in mystery, their intentions unclear or lacking true direction or purpose. The Bloodied Ninth is clear with what it wishes to achieve and how it wishes to achieve it. Cut into three even pieces the group is known, officially, as "The Ninth Division" of the Republic Strategic Information Service. Due to the nature of the SIS and it's love for anonymity the Ninth Division has gone through many leaders and many incarnations throughout galactic history, the majority of their actions unrecorded to prevent backlash against the senate.

Bureau Chief Norredi Anlon Dekk recently broke The Ninth Division into three pieces in order to keep their operations and the people within each organization close to one another but within three different realms of knowledge to prevent intelligence leaks and betrayal amongst the ranks.

Special Operations Squad 327, code-named "Impstalkers:" Born of Coruscant militia during the Great Hyperspace War the elite unit went through restructuring during every major conflict including the Great Galactic War and almost every time it was filled to the brim with patriots and die-hard defenders of freedom who didn't mind getting their hands dirty if it meant destroying Imperials in the process. Led by Captain Narrik Ahlers the unit hopes to obey the Senate War Doctrine and hit the Imperials where it hurts whenever the SIS presents the opportunity-- and sometimes whenever they find one without help.

Dekk-Orizara Industries: Serving as a front for spy work across the galaxy, Dekk-Orizara Industries came into power in the espionage community once the former CEO of Dekk Enterprises, Carter Dekk, died under mysterious circumstances. After a move from the board of directors a new, non-family CEO was chosen and the company merged with it's rival competitor. The elusive CEO of the new company refuses to show his face even to Norri Dekk himself, instead opting to let him remain a permanent employee with enough resources to do what is necessary in neutral and Imperial space without detection. Dekk-Orizara now acts as the hiring staff for all of the SIS spies and assets underneath Norri Dekk, their actions sometimes going under the 326th's notice.

The Zoetic Jedi: Jedi who serve the Galactic Republic abroad and under odd circumstances where they find that reporting in to the Jedi Council may be impossible, if not tedious and so one Jedi Master acts as the Speaker to pass on all information of the Zoetic Jedi's deeds onto the Council and preforms their wishes. Formed by Jedi Master Filigreed Qardrin the small sub-sect of the Jedi Order believes almost wholeheartedly in the Living Force theory, albeit many have known to believe other paths while serving in order to fight for the greater good and secure artifacts which may be lost to the Jedi or in the hands of Sith. Due to the high amount of Sith the Ninth Division has encountered the Zoetic Jedi have deployed themselves to act as defenders of the Galactic Republic.

Yeah, movement. If you can move the posts that you've done - stories and the like - I would greatly appreciate it. I'll be moving content such as The Daginn roleplay and all my.. 65 Life and Times posts, so it'll take a bit. Information like the RSF training manual and whatnot can be done by anyone, obviously, as long as we toss it in information along with beverages and - later - the ship's specs.

I hate moves. Makes my man-tits all flaccid.

On the bright side, the recruitment stuff is revamped to the max. It's looking REALLY sleek this time around and enjin is good at making things professional when it isn't lagging, I'll try to get a payment plan up within the next week or two as well as a donation pool in case you randomly come into contact with a pot of leprechaun's gold.
